Hello lovelies!

 

As the end of 2012 is fast approaching and we are all

looking forward to a wonderful New Year

I always get a little philosophical during these last few hours

before the big celebrations and my thoughts tend to wander....

 

How about you?

Are you the same?

 

Does it make you smile or a little melancholy.....

 

Are you a glass half-full kinda girl or a half empty one?

 

I'm always the half full kinda girl...

 

 

I try my very best to smile my way through any situation in life...

good or bad and hope that I manage to pass on some of the sunshine to others along the way.

 

Over the past couple of years I have become more aware

of the fact that I openly wear my heart on my sleeve for all to see which I cannot change now at my time of life!

 

For some this has been a blessing and to others I feel as though I am always doing something

I shouldn't and have often felt quite silly....

 

But the time has come to say that I actually enjoy being the sensitive

soul that I am.

 

I enjoy my quirky little things in life....

the simple things...

 

 

missing many moments while losing myself in books....

 

 

Standing in my kitchen with the thrill of wondering what I will bake first....

 

 

 adding the litte extras to get togethers that make people smile....

 

 

I particularly adore my crafting  regardless of whether they are in vogue....

the thrill of choosing that first ball of wool for your project or mixing fabrics together for

that next quilt....

 

 

I even love the thrill of waiting for Spring to arrive in my little

haven of paradise....

 

 

I know that not everyone is the same

but I love the fact that we are all different.

Isn't it exciting?

Learning from each other....

Sharing our stories, memories and different ways...

 

During 2013 I am very lucky to have much to look forward to...

I shall be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with my hun,

 

 

 

celebrating my youngest son's 18th,

 

 

 

and celebrating my third year of trading as Tilly Rose.

 

 

 

I know that 2013 may bring along some sadness

as well as joy and that a couple of my dear friends and family may not see

all of the year with us, but I will always hold them in my heart...

They are all special people who have enriched my life with beautiful

memories.

 

So my lovelies.....you see, I have many wonderful things to help me smile

during 2013.

 

I intend to make it a fab year.

 

 

 

Enjoy your celebrations tonight with your loved ones...

Cherish those wonderful memories and hold them dear to your hearts.
